How long does it take?
From three to four weeks for a simple shop. A larger catalogue, integrations or custom features add time, and the written quote states the timeline before work starts.
What ongoing costs will I have?
Hosting and domain, no licence fee since PrestaShop is open source. Monthly maintenance is optional, only if you want updates and backups handled for you.
Why PrestaShop and not a monthly-fee platform?
You own the shop and there’s no percentage on your sales. To be honest about it: monthly-fee platforms make sense if you’re starting with very little budget or want to launch in days rather than weeks. PrestaShop makes sense once you plan to grow the shop over years.
Can I manage it myself once it’s live?
Yes, that’s the point of the training included at launch. And if something is beyond what you want to handle, I’m still there.
Will the site be 100% mine?
Yes, code and data are yours, hosted where you choose. Nothing is locked to me or to a platform you don’t control.
